lt is also a restaurant where, under your eyes, we grill prawns, vegetables, farm chicken, duck breast and the famous Txuleta (beef rib)

ln 1999, Dominic Lagadec, master eider maker, created TXOPINONDO and elaborated the Sagarno directly in the family house located in Urrugne.
ln 2004, he decides to develop the company with his partner Carole in Ascain.
ln 2021 the family adventure continues with Louise and Romain!

Entering and visiting Txopinondo, the authentic Basque Cider House, means discovering the SAGARNO, the oldest drink in the country, and all the ceremonial of its tasting: initiate yourself to the TXOTX by visiting us or during a friendly lunch.

Vou have to start small before you can think big. lt all started with a handful of people sharing the same values and vision. Today, our team has grown to include young people willing to share the treasures of the Basque Country.

Très bon moment avec un personnage passionné très agréable très bonne surprise dans ce beau lieu du local artisanal comme on aime dommage que le côte resto soit fermé je reviendrai sur. Merci !!

Quand on arrive, on nous fait "la classe" devant de grands tonneaux de cidre...l'origine des pommes, la durée du vieillissement, mais surtout..."l'apprentissage" de se servir un verre de cidre...au tonneau ! Et Txhot ! Tout au long d'un repas délicieux (la carte est très diversifiee) on est invité à se lever par un "Txhot" retentissant, à se servir à different tonneaux, d'un verre de cidre...au goût different !!! Ambiance conviviale et sympathique .avec une petite boutique qui nous permet d'acheter du jus de pomme (delicieux). Du cidre et différents éléments culinaire de la région. Excellent souvenirs !
